Year round average temperature of 28 – 30°C (83 – 90°F). The dry season is between December and May and the rainy season from June to mid December. During the rainy season the showers can be heavy but are normally sporadic.

Full passport for Europeans, U.S., and Canadian citizens are required to produce evidence of citizenship. Return or onward ticket required for all visitors.

All local telephone calls from private telephones are free. Cell phones SIMs are readily available at Flow and Digicel. Calling abroad is expensive. A fax service is available at most hotels and at the Flow offices in St. George’s.
Local buses travel the main routes regularly. Average cost per journey EC$ 5.00. No bus service on Sundays or at night. Taxis are available average cost 10 – 30 US$. Car Rental can be arranged prior to your arrival should you wish. You will need to be over 25 years and bring with you a full driving licence. You will be required to obtain a Grenadian license, cost EC$ 60.00. Car hire is approximately US$ 65.00 per day.
St. George’s is the nearest hospital for emergencies. Dentists, Doctors and chemists are readily available.
Private doctors and hospital are available. Please ensure adequate travel insurance.
Tips are welcomed, and should be about 10% of the cost of item/service.
Expect to pay 10% tax in most hotels and restaurants service charge and 15% for most other things.
Cool summer clothing is perfect. Sportswear for the daytime. At night most hotels and restaurants require smart casual dress for both men and women.
